Something to share
Today almost die in the cold.
As you guys already know I took a cab today.
i have an agreement with the driver to take me back to the hotel.
Guess what? When I call him at 5pm, he didnt pick up.
When he does at 5.20pm he told me he is somewhere faraway, ask me to find someone else to pick me up.
So I give broadway a call which btw they network is hard to call in.
Finally did anyway, they say will send 1 in 20 minute.
I waited till 6.00pm and gave Radio Cab another company a call, don’t want to take the chance of getting fly kite again.
Waited till around 6.15pm, saw a car of some sort drive by.
Thinking it was a cab, I rush out only to find that it is a private car driving off.
(Hey I didnt know what a Radio Cab looks like, don’t blame me )
Then to my horror, I got lock out! You need a card for the floor door?
My Card expires after 6pm.. Sigh.. So I waited outside the door.
And I waited, seriously think i might freeze to dead there.
It is a friday night, lonely street of wilsonville. No person in sight.. don’t people usually die at this kind of scene?
but then a miracle happen.
A person (Jim, I asked him later) come through the building main door.
I hesitate a moment but quickly rush over. I explain my situation to him , ask him if he could give me a ride.
He say Yes! Safe in the nick of time.
Thank you Jim, if it wasnt for you I might have to walk or I might even freeze to death.
You are a life saver.
Jim is a father of 2 kids, happily married to a lovely wife.
Didnt catch his last name, hope to bump into him again. Want to thank him properly again.
Dinner
This is what I have been eating on Thursday and Friday
Sad..
Dun feel like going out. It has been raining these few days.
Views from the Car
Here are the pictures i took when I am in the car.
The temperature should be less than 7 degree celsius or 44.6 degrees Fahrenheit
Good thing i like the cold.
